OBJECTIVE: For you to know the reasons for learning the material in Art History.   

The state of California produces standards that every student in the state should learn.  These are called “content standards.”  There are content standards in all core subjects in the state including math, science, language arts, history/social science, and visual/performing arts.  Groups of educators spend months identifying what standards are important for all students to learn.
