Module Two Introduction

The next stop in our tour of Econ City brings us to the Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber of commerce in a small town or city is an organization that promotes the interests of the businesses and citizens of their community. Providing economic information to prospective industries and travel information to visitors are just some of the important tasks that a chamber of commerce does.

The Chamber of Commerce of Econ City provides valuable information to you as you begin the study of economics. Perhaps the first item to consider for this course is to answer the question, "What is Economics?"

The readings and activities in this module are designed to help you understand some basic economic terms and concepts.

To advance to the first assignment of the module, use the "next" button at the bottom of the page. Be sure to check the pace chart to see what you need to accomplish this week.
