  • Ben and Jerry's latest mission statement, which is located at their web site.

  • Notice the changes in their mission statement since their book, Ben & Jerry's Double Dip, was published. .
  • Explain the differences between their previous statements and the more current ones on their web site.
  • Complete this task by writing three cohesive paragraphs.

3. Hypothesize

  • Based on what you know about Ben and Jerry after reading their book, make an educated guess as to why they changed their mission statement to read as it does currently.
  • How would you change the mission statement to make it even better?
  • Complete this task by including this information in the paragraphs you write for step 2.
