While demonstrating to my students how to make sure their jump rope is the right size for them, I showed them how to tie knots to shorten it if they needed to. I made the comment, "You can always make a long rope shorter, but you cannot make a short rope grow longer." To that, one Kindergarten student said, "Water it."

This module has given you a wealth of information on physical education.  We hope that you have learned additional aspects about P.E. that you were not previously aware.  This section will ask you to make personal responses on subject of physical education.

Using the previous 6 lessons, write a 250 word essay about the benefits of physical education.  Has this unit changed or reinforced your opinion of including physical education in school?  Why or why not?
