Lesson 10.05 Now and Into the Future

A very popular movie in 1985’ was “Back to the Future,” starring Michael J. Fox.

In the story a teenager is able to go back into time to the 1950’s and actually “hook-up” his Mom and Dad, so that he will be born. In subsequent adventures he traveled back to the Wild West of the 1800’s and into the future. The movies were very popular and can be rented at most video stores.

The following sites predict what will happen in the future for various topics, subjects, and events. Familiarize yourself with what people, some of them experts, say will happen in the next 50 years.

The first site provides a timeline of events to 2049 regarding technology and social changes that will come about. It also has links to other futurism sites that you might find interesting.
